Steve Jobs [Hardcover]

Product Description

Based on interviews with over forty two years of work and interviews with more than one hundred family members, friends, enemies, competitors and colleagues, Walter Isaacson has written a compelling story of life on a roller coaster and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and unity revolutionized fierce six areas: personal computers, entertainment, music, telephones, tablet computers, and digital publishing.

At a time when America is looking for ways to support its technological leadership, and when companies worldwide are trying to build the Digital Economy, Jobs is the ultimate icon of inventiveness and imagination applied. He knew the best way to create value in the XXI century has been to link creativity with technology. He built a society that leaps of imagination combined with remarkable feats of engineering.

While jobs have contributed to this book, he asked no control over what was written, not even the right to read it before publication. He put nothing off limits. He encouraged people to speak honestly know. Jobs and speak frankly, sometimes brutally so, about the people he worked with and met. His friends, enemies and colleagues provide an unvarnished view of passion, perfectionism, obsessions, art, evil, and coercion to control that have shaped his approach to business and innovative products that resulted.

Driven by demons, Labour could drive around him is a rage and despair. But his personality and the products were to each other, just like Apple hardware and software were generally as part of an integrated system. His story is instructive, and warnings, full of lessons on innovation, character, leadership and values.
